Historic Santa Fe Foundation (HSFF) will host an exhibition curated by Aaron Payne titled How I see it: African American Abstraction (1960-1980). The exhibition will open at El Zaguán, 545 Canyon Road, Suite 2, Santa Fe, NM on Friday, May 27, 2022, 5-7pm and will feature artworks from Aaron Payne's personal collection as well as from his gallery Aaron Payne Fine Arts. Artists exhibited include Frederick J. Brown, Beauford Delaney, Melvin Edwards, Suzanne Jackson, Claude Lawrence, John Outterbridge, and Marion Sampler. Read more here.
