About Historic Santa Fe Foundation (HSFF)
Since the Historic Santa Fe Foundation’s founding in 1961, the nonprofit has been an active participant in preservation efforts in the City of Santa Fe and Northern New Mexico and a contributor to the historic narrative told through the region's people and architecture. Our mission is to preserve, protect, and promote the historic properties and diverse cultural heritage of the Santa Fe area, and to educate the public about Santa Fe's history and the importance of preservation.
2025 Call for Artists
For nearly a century, artists have lived, worked, and exhibited their creations inside HSFF’s historic compound El Zaguán, 545 Canyon Road, Santa Fe, New Mexico, 87501. The Foundation is pleased to announce that we are now accepting submissions for our 2025 slate of exhibitions. Please review the deadlines and submission requirements before applying.
Due to the high volume of submissions, we may be unable to respond to everyone. Be aware that if offered an exhibition, all works must be framed in a professional manner (if that is the intended display) and that the artist is responsible for installing and uninstalling their exhibition within the time frame outlined by HSFF staff. 15 jpegs (72 dpi at 1200 inches on the longest side) representing the body of work that you would like to exhibit. Name your image files as follows with your last name, first name, and the title of your work inserted: Lastname_Firstname_Title of Work
Eligibility
This opportunity is available to all artists and art collectives working in New Mexico who are over 18 years of age.
