Historic Santa Fe Foundation is pleased to present a brief discussion and screening of the new short film by filmmaker Kyle Maier on Eva Scott Fényes. Fényes was one of the earliest American artists and patrons to start investing in the Santa Fe art community. Her incredible archive and art collection offers us many new insights into the development of the Santa Fe art colony.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Kyle Maier is a filmmaker and artist originally from Las Cruces. For the past 6 years, he has been obsessively focused on the history of Canyon Road, researching the complicated origin stories of American art in Santa Fe. His persistence and serendipitous luck have led him to discover little-known archives and personal family histories, and together with the community, he has developed a multi-media history project that aims to tell these important stories.

PARKING
Parking on Canyon Road, Camino Escondido, and Delgado Streets as available. Paid lots are located on Delgado Street and on Canyon Road across from El Farol.

CHECK-IN
Check-in starts at 2:40 pm. HSFF staff or a volunteer will check you in by asking for your name. Come early or stay late to view our history and art exhibitions.
