The City of Santa Fe Arts and Culture Department will present a series of free public programs on earthen architecture in tandem with the Community Gallery’s exhibition Brick X Brick: Artworks Inspired by Earthen Architecture.

HSFF is pleased to announce that our Deputy Director Melanie McWhorter and Preservation Projects Manager Mara Saxer will speak at the Community Gallery on July 13 at 5pm. Melanie and Mara’s presentation will include a brief history of El Zaguán through its owners, discussion of the building’s architectural elements, an overview of the organization, and upcoming changes to the compound through the El Zaguán Master Plan. 

Brick X Brick: Artworks Inspired by Earthen Architecture is on display June 3 through September 1, 2022 at the Santa Fe Community Gallery on 201 W. Marcy St.
